Valentine's Luncheon

Last Thursday Halley and I went to a Valentine's party at our friends house. The kids had a blast playing together. Halley even got a little lovin' from Donny. He planted a big kiss on her. It was cute. She didn't want to let him go! Halley had a real Valentine.

Santa Barbara Zoo

Last weekend we got the chance to go to the Santa Barbara Zoo with John and Amy. It was so much fun. The zoo was really beautiful. I think Halley's favorite part, and the boys', was sliding down the hill on their zoo maps. Also, we got to take a fun train ride around the zoo. Halley had a blast just being with her cool boy cousins. It was really fun to hang out with John and Amy for the day as well. Enjoy the pictures!

Little Treasure Hunters

Yesterday, Rachel and I took the girls to Disneyland. The weather was so nice that we decided to go to Tom Sawyer's Island. The girls had a lot of fun climbing through the caves. There were a lot of stairs, so it took Halley a while to get to the top. She would not let me hold her hand either. She wanted to be a big girl like her big girl cousins. She is truly becoming miss independent. Also, when we went on the Jungle Cruise, she didn't want to sit on my lap. I thought she would be afraid of the elephants or hippos, but no, her favorite part was sitting on the bench next to me, and not on me. I was a little sad, but I guess she is enjoying her autonomy stage.

Merry Late Christmas

Last week I got a surprise package from my brother John, who is stationed in Germany with the Air Force. My face pretty much sums up how excited I was. Thanks John!

Playing Dress Up

Halley enjoys playing dress up and especially wearing her headband on her forehead. She is so silly. I love watching her grow. She is now 19 months old and getting cuter. She looked so funny, I had to snap a picture.
