Kelley Blue Book Holiday Party

Last weekend we went to Nathan's work party. It was a Casino Night at the Grove. It was really fun. We got free drinks (Cranberry juice with club soda), and a yummy fish dinner, plus a magic show. Nathan thought it would be fun to gamble away $1,000 of fake chips. He had no idea what he was doing, but he wanted to play Craps. It was pretty funny. All in all, it was an enjoyable night out.

Not a Santa Fan

Well, sad to say, Halley does not like sitting on stranger's laps, who happen to have large, white beards. However, it does make for a classic picture!

"Here we come a caroling.."

This season Nathan decided to join a professional caroling group. He gets to wear this really cool outfit, and perform at various parties around the area. It is a lof of fun. This best part, is that he gets paid for having fun!

Decorating the Tree

We decided to buy a fake, tiny tree this year. I just thought it would be easier to do it that way with Halley. We have the tree on our piano. It is really nice, because she can't touch it!

Halley's New Hat

Aunt Sonja gave Halley this adorable hat for Christmas. Since, we were all together for Thanksgiving, we got out presents early. The hat is so cute, I had to post a picture of it. Thank you Sonja!

ATV'ing and Temple Lights

We also went to the Mesa Temple and saw the Christmas lights. They were beautiful!

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had such a blast over Thanksgiving weekend. We spent the actual holiday in Murrieta at my brother's home. It was nice to see all of my family, especially my brother John who is going to Germany for 6 months.

Halley enjoyed jumping on their trampoline. She didn't care that it was wet and cold, she was jumping.

Then we drove straight to Arizona from Murrieta. We spent the weekend learning self-defense, going to a rock concert, ATV'ing, talking about Twilight, eating Sonja's pumpkin cookies, seeing the temple lights and going to the Waffle House for grits. It was great. I think Halley's favorite part was getting 100 bucks from Papa for saying "Hi, Papa!" Way to go Halley! Thanks Papa Brown!

New Wheels

Well, I hit our stroller with the car. Oops. So, we got Halley a new set of wheels. It was intended for Christmas, but I couldn't wait to give it to her. She loves it. It is hard to get her out when we are done with our walks. Hopefully, I won't hit this one either.

Halley is feeding herself!

Halley is a big girl now. She demands that she feed herself. Surprisingly, she does a pretty good job. Most of it gets in her mouth, and the rest all over her face. It is so fun watching her grow and becoming more independent.

Disneyland Date

Nathan and I finally got away for our anniversary Disneyland date. It was a lot of fun. We went on all the big rides, took silly pictures in line, and ate clam chowder bread bowls. We even splurged and got some hot chocolate on our way out of the park at midnight! We were crazy. Thanks for babysitting Grandma Rushton!
