Shhhh

Yesterday, I got shushed by an 18 month old, and I deserved it, twice! Nathan and I took Halley to Disneyland last night, and we decided to look in the museum on Main Street. There was a presentation going on, so I said, "shhh" to Halley. Then I realized we were the only people in there, so I started talking in my regular volume, and Halley put me in my place and gave me the SHHHH. Then on the way home in the car, I told her it was time for night, night. She closed her eyes real tight, faking being asleep. Then, I started talking to Nathan, and she did it again, "shhhh"! Gees, I guess I am being too loud for my toddler. Thanks for keeping me in line Halley!

California Adventure

Last week, Halley and I decided to go to California Adventure. It was 90 degrees in January! So, we only stayed for a few hours, but we got lucky enough to see Mickey and Pluto!

Say Cheese!

Halley likes taking pictures with our old camera. I think she will make an excellent photographer!

"Jump, jump, jump"

Nathan took some cute video of Halley trying to jump. It is one of her favorite things to do with Nathan. Howver, I don't think she has quite mastered getting two feet off of the ground at the same time. It is sure funny to watch.

Ready for Church

Halley looked so cute last Sunday, I just had to take some pictures of her all dressed up. She is now 18 months old and in nursery. She loves it! Her favorite part, is singing time. She can do the actions to popcorn popping, it so so funny. Also, she could care less when we drop her off, she just says "bye!" and runs to the toys. I hope it will last!

Pooped Out

When I pulled into our apartment after a long, fun, day at Disneyland, I had to snap this picture. It pretty much sums up our day!

Halley's New Friend

Rachel gave us this huge stuffed Elmo a few weeks ago, because she just didn't have room for it. It is literally bigger than Halley. Well, Halley is at the Elmo age, she just thinks he is the best! They have become close friends. She wrestles with him on the floor, kisses him goodnight, and they even watch Sesame Street together on the couch. However, I think Elmo is becoming a bad influence on Halley because I woke up one morning to find a mess all over my kitchen floor! Of course, my innocent, sweet, Halley would never do a think like that! C is for cookie. Very good, Halley!

Future Drummer

Halley enjoys playing Rockband. Her favorite instrument to play is the drums, especially if she gets to sit on Daddy's lap.

The Joys of Motherhood

Nathan took this picture of me. I think it is so funny! You can tell, I am done for the day, and totally oblivious to a toddler pushing me off the couch. Good times...

Christmas Morning

We spent the night at my folk's house on Christmas Eve. It was so fun waking up on Christams morning, and taking Halley down the stairs to her stocking and presents. Santa did a pretty good job! Halley got a vacuum, a chicken dancing Elmo, crayons, and a puzzle. I bought Nathan his favorite root beer, and I got the Twilight soundtrack! My parents totally shocked us with the American Idol Kareoke game for XBOX. We had a blast playing it all day! Halley loves to eat the microphone! It was a great Christmas.

Kelley Blue Book Christmas Eve Luncheon

On Christmas Eve Nathan's work had a super fun family party. They had face painting, balloons, and yummy food. It was fun to walk around Nathan's office and to see where he works. He has a really comfortable chair! Halley loved getting her face painted. She sat very still. Later that night we went to my brother Richard's house for some dinner. And yes, Halley still had her face paint on!
